Discipling and training effective christian leaders
Through the Christian Discipleship & Leadership Training arm, we work in remote areas where majority of the Evangelical Pastors and Church leaders have little or no training in Theology and leadership. Many have very low levels of education. Even those who have a certain level of education lack access to Theological and pastoral training. Many are financially unable to pay the basic fees required by Bible colleges.
By facilitating and empowering the Pastors and other Church leaders to carry out God’s purpose for His Church, we help them carry out God’s Mission and Mandate for His creation and His Church as revealed in the Great Commandment and the Great Commission. CTA also focuses on the average Christian, training them and empowering them to understand God’s plan of Salvation and mobilize them to reach out to their communities with the Gospel message, with an emphasis to Unreached People Groups. Through this, we facilitate the formation of Christ-like character in the Pastors and Church leaders which will in turn enable them to disciple their members to Christian maturity.
Through Christian Discipleship & Leadership Training, we build capacity for local evangelical pastors and church leaders through provision or facilitation of:
- Theological, Pastoral and Leadership training through Short-term courses, Distance Learning, E-Learning or On-Campus.
- Provision of exegetical tools and other resources necessary for pastoral work.
- Start-up funds and training to start sustainable income-generating projects to help the rural pastors do community outreach and discipleship without dependency on donations and aid.
- Building up the believers who come to faith in Christ from communities that are hostile to the Gospel of Christ.
- In partnership with others, supporting and providing a safe haven for those who may be facing persecution from their families or from the adherents of their former faith.
